Am I going crazy? I remember there was a flashback of the mom making the bet with the dad before she died. She was pregnant, and told him that he come to love his child if it's born a girl. In this flashback and he was like sitting by the window.
I'm not talking about chapter 10 btw i remember there was a chapter with a longer flashback of the parents making that bet and the dad sorta just scoffed it off on how ridiculous she was being
