SO GOOD. AND NO TOXIC MASCULINITY. im so sick to see characters in yaoi manga having such a fragile masculinity and be all "im only top". gosh, men like this sure try hard to be "manly". i loved both characters in this manga because they are the complete opposite of that. it was so good to read. this author is a genius.
dude, first im a guy. second, wtf are you talking about??? do you read yaoi? see that most yaoi have this characteristic in common that is the TOXICITY. there's the heteronormative idea that top guys has to act like straight men and bottom guys has to act like women. a lot of yaoi mangas are like that. top guys being all "don't get close to my ass" or "im no gay/bi but i like fucking this dude". this is toxic masculinity. even gay men has this fragile ego that are so afraid of being related to homosexuality. this author don't do that. not just in this work, but in their every work, that's what i was talking about. it doesn't matter if the mangaka is a woman or a man, you'll almost always find shit like that in yaoi.

i wasn't expecting this manga to be so heartwarming, but here im.. crying. this manga really told the story of three depressed men dealing with their depression in different ways. one wanting to feel alive and doing drugs and sex to feel like it. one becoming a shut-in. one wanting to die because he couldn't see a future. and how the three of them saved each other.
it was so beautiful and actually would be a great movie. i really could picture every scene so well i could almost hear the narration lol
