Okay here’s my theory:
So black haired guy a few chapters ago in the flashback took some of mcs hair, I’m thinking that he tried to use the hair to perform some type of witchcraft to get mc to give him more attention like a love potion which somehow went wrong and led to mc accidentally killing his father under the influence of the witchcraft or worst case black haired out of anger+jealousy litch cast a spell to make mc kill his father to get the current outcome (him being his slave) or to kill ML, but he accidentally ended up killing his father.
And now the older sister is helping to prevent Mc’s memories coming back bc 1) witchcraft is forbidden but her little brother performed it so they’ll probs all be prosecuted and suspected. 2) If they are found to have been involved in the murder of mcs father who had a high status they will also be heavily prosecuted. She rlly scares me tbh bc she doesn’t love mc, i feel like she just feels guilty towards him hence why she’s keeping him alive but I feel like she’d chose saving herself and her family over retribution any day (I think she may eventually get rid of mc to save her family).
This story is going to be messyyyy is all I can say.
I’m scared to find out why he’s trying to stop him from regaining his memories as if what he’s already done isn’t horrible If even he thinks that what he’s did was bad then oh em gee

I fear I may have the same problem as the ML, bc when I like something I exhaust it until I can’t stand the sight of it anymore. I’m scared to get into a relationship now
By “something” I mean things like food or activities.
Not to get super deep but at least you acknowledge that you have that trait. I feel like instead of avoiding relationships because of that fear (although it is a valid one) you can still go into things more self aware and know when to pull back if you get into it too much. You need someone who will traumatize you and leave you hanging at least 2x a week.
By then, you'll be so hung up on them your negative trait will be the last thing you'll worry about.
