It’s been I while I just finished it and honestly looking on comments this story isn’t an easy one and could be labeled trash or toxic and very dark easily, I think the strong part of this story is that the character aren’t made to be likable, they have their own thoughts, desire, need and darkness and it’s not made for us to really relate to. It’s more like a story for us to see unfold like a spectator. I personally enjoyed it, even tho it is messy, there’s still so much plot going on, it’s not loosing anything at all. It’s showing how flawed one can be, they have a lot of deepness and I do think we sometimes get the same thoughts as Cole, BUT we also cannot relate as much bc it’s insane to think about murder etc. Anyway, this can’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I really like how it’s not a story about being perfect. Also I really like the last development, Cole finally being more mature showing less care for a yes or a no, it’s a good ending so far. Like let them be crazy together kind of story. This story isn’t pretending to be a wholesome one, and I like how they portray how fucked up one mind’s can be and what could be it limits. Like you can clearly see he just wanted to be loved, and when I saw him clung in the blondie I thought he just needed to be loved unconditionally. And to my surprise, there it is, his limits. He couldn’t go on bc he still loved Alex. I think that’s also improvement. It’s not easy to write this kind of story either imo

I think it’s a hard take essentially because Touji and Yachiyo both didn’t have a clear closure, with all those “what if” and all this longing for all those years.. So I personally have a hard time rooting for Kiyoto even if he seems like a good guy. If this kind of tragic love that is one sided end up being reciprocated I feel like anyone would go back together because it fulfill something it couldn’t before and it change those sad feeling into happiness at once. I’m not sure this story is completed or what kinda confusing but I do hope there’s more to it..

I was expecting the usual esper x guide plot where smut is thrown here and there at guidance scene but this one is actually so good?? The storyline is quite developed as good as a kdrama, and it’s well introduced, even with the reborn cliche. I have lot of expectation for this one, love it so far. I believe it’s gonna be a slow burn type?
