And im glad that he understood the hurt he caused his mom with his words but Im sad he thought one hurt(hyesung not being there/wanting byul for his first two months of life) cancels another hurt (Hyesung's mom up and leaving Hyesung at a young age with Hyesungs abusive dad to save herself for 10-15 years).

No way Byul is old enough to know the difference between a parent having doubts for a couple of months especially considering hyesung was 20 yrs old vs a mother abandoning a child with an abusive father. Plus she only came back because hyesung married into money. She had no interest in him at all.
