Not only that, in this scene he was supposed to go in and beat that dungeon in like 5 mins stat just to get back and not see hyeosop. His pov of it was Soo good seeing how desperate he was to get it over with only to not see him at all. They should've just been faithful to the novel

TBH some stuff from the novel did need to be cut. It was a tad bloated. I do agree some of the subtext is really lost here though that you can find in the novel.

They seemed to have skipped the entire arc of hyeosop living away for months as Jin which was fine with me by this part really is terrible because it was like a lot of scenes where andante realized just how I. Love he was with hyeosop. He was protecting him from getting dragged by the gate and everything. It would've been soooo good
