Must be that his mother is from Hanu, it’s also why she apologizes :( RatchetTea
Yeah but its kinda crazy to have her be from Hanu but not be tan lol. I guess to add an element of racism or something where she's of more "noble" breed since she's whiter
It's possible she might be mixed as well, and her appearance and status (as a noble/alpha) could have made her a good candidate. Still boils down to racism, but it could explain her paler appearance.

i doubt that, considering every hanu is tan she wouldn't suddenly be white if she was full hanu, plus hanu officials would know about the crown princess of the origin country of their queen being from hanu? that would be major news lol
she probably only has a small hanu influence like a grandmother or something, only to add the story element of 1) her being accepting of omegas which no one in this country seems to be, only hanus can accept them apparently lmao and 2) huey to have 'hanu genes', making him feel bad towards his dad despite being an alpha bc hanus don't hate omegas 3) i bet my ass evil king daddy sent ilya to hanu bc it's the only place omegas are treated well, so he did that to protect ilya, so hanu influenced huey and mother can change the evil north now too haha

I interpreted it as her being partially Hanu. Possibly a grandparent. Thorne strikes me the type to bring it up as a diss even if that heritage was 10 generations removed. That perception of omegas may have been passed along in family teachings and upbringing, or she could just have basic empathy. Thorne also strikes me the type to think cultural ideology is passed down generically
This author seems like to make seme with mask and omg the chibi expression also so funny! I remember screenshotting their faces years ago cus its so cute. I have been reread this few times!
I often stay quite long to read looong analysis about this couple in tu*blr. Dang it took damn long and honestly i dont really care about the yakuza story, too complicated for my small brain. I just read for doumeki and yashiro until when their relationship will change??! Im getting old!!
The story is actually promising, graphic honestly not to my liking but its not bad. But man the execution is just horrible… sorry I force myself to read it until chap 8 but
Huh sorry am i missing something? Why huey has hanu blood? Huh what am i reading it wrong
