Like, if it's for the 1st and I don't remember, it's in the heat of the moment, he wasn't thinking straight. Similar to when a child gets lost and the parent starts yelling at them - it's out of frustration that they couldn't find the child/worry. Same here. I don't think it's ok of course, you're right, but like I said he wasn't thinking straight. In the moment he was angry at the rapist, not the main character (I forget names easily). Everyone does that when they are angry, it's not on purpose, that's why I don't hate him for it. When he calmed down he hugged him (which is how he really feels. Of course it doesn't "make him a better person" but like I said most of the people get angry and blame everyone around them) That's just realistic...
Also, he really shouldn't go to work at that state, like, just for his safety, so it makes sense. Again I'm not saying it's ok to blame the victim, I'm saying that he didn't do it on purpose.
