Basically Sovieshit makes up a plan to divorce and remarry Navier after a year (and keeping her as a sidechick in the meantime who'd still do empress work in place of trashta) when he finds out Trashta is preggo, so he can have the child as his official successor thinking for sure it's his child (KEK) and believing Navier is infertile cause they both ate poisoned cookies in their childhood (thanks again to sovieshit but it was from a good intention) since they tried for years and had trouble conceiving. Thing is Navier found out and asked Heinley to marry her if she ever got divorced; when she got wind of the divorce trial she informs Heinley and he rushes over (right after the divorce is the only time she can ask for remarriage else she'd be forced to stay there). Flashback to ch1, the high priest agrees to it so they're officially together but Sovieshit can't accept it and tries to find ways to keep Navier here and get her remarriage annuled, but she manages to flee secretly with Heinley with Elgy's help.
Trashta's crowned empress and starts spending the kingdom's funds extravagantly and makes mistakes after mistakes even tho Navier lit. prepared everything for her so she'd have no issues but she wanted to do it "Trashta way" so royal rep got damaged badly because of her. Sovieshit started to not care about her as he only ever truly cared about Navier and wanted to crack her poker face. That made her go mad and she tried to get rid of every woman who might approach him as she did not want a repeat of Navier/her happening.
Wedding ceremony of Navier and Hein, Sovieshit and Trashta are invited. He couldn't bear to look at Trashta who was dressed too extravagantly and kept his eyes fixated on Navier who looked genuinely happy with Hein, and he was bitter bout it. Trash tried to stir trouble by bringing up letters incident, and Navier intervened by asking her why she was always interested in her husbands, or was she perhaps interested in her. When Sovieshit and Trashta had their ceremony a few months later, same happened. A year passed, Trashta spent the kingdom's funds on luxuries, parties (with only her and men mind you) and assassins. She tried to have Navier's parents assassinated, resulting in them losing faith in the royal family and the loss of the biggest armed force for eastern kingdom.
Navier's pregnancy was announced and that Shitshoe into shock, realizing he might have been the infertile one and asking himself what was the point of divorcing Navier. Hein added salt on the wound by personnally sending him an invite to the baby shower. He refused to go but Trashta absolutely wanted to go (bitch couldn't accept Navier was happy now while she was suffering with Shu), Shitshoe agreed while telling her "she could profit of the occasion to learn how a real empress should be". She tried to humiliate Navier at the party by returning the gift Navier was forced to give her, to which Navier answered thanks cause she didn't want to give her anything in the first place.
Also Navier's learning magic under Hein and Kapmen's tutoring, cause the trade agreement Shitshoe cancelled due to his jealousy, Navier had it made with Western Kingdom instead. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

i am happy to see season 2 here but i cant help but not ship Zay with Aseph. i hate to say it... but Aseph is scary. very scary. and unhealthy too. like, i get that he’s a character that was done injustice to, but the entire relationship is so toxic. he wants to control her (numerous instances) and needs to sort his own problems out before he unloads that on Zay. i hope she gets together with the mystery fated man honestly.
i thought the same but i think it’s obvious that they’re gonna be together in the end, since that’s the whole plot of the story. i’m just hoping that Elzay will fix Aseph this season.

Well the only reason she went into the novel was because of her love for him and pity she literally grieved him when he died in the novel and only wanted to change and help his miserable life....... so it makes sense they end up together...... I'm not saying it's the most healthy relationship and Aseph definitely needs some therapy cuz his life was shit he didn't deserve all that pain that he went through..... but it happened and she knows his fucked up..... but still wants to be with him cuz that was her wish when she was reading the novel...... and by this point I don't think there's anyone else suited to be with him and give him the slight glimmer of happiness his been yearning for..... plus I think he is her destined partner anyways since the whole magic thing happened when she got frustrated at the mark and passed out after the magic she release went to him......so my only hope is that they will love each other and no harm will come to either of them or their love......
