Well the thing is her disciples are heavily reliant on her (as it says). Even after her supposed 'death' they're still obsessed with her and resort to unpleasant means for her to come back (trying to resurrect her, kidnapping people that bare any resemblance towards her even though there's an innocent meaning behind it) To be fair, they're pretty lucky that she didn't actually pass on. Because how disrespectful would it be to resurrect someone who willingly wanted to rest for the rest of their lifetime.
