No way you read this entire story and actually think the top is in the wrong. Is it kinda crazy? Yeah but Taeman is THE love of his life and he’s willing to die for him. He’s never been a killer so he doesn’t know how these things work. You can’t just blame him for not doing everything perfectly because that’s unreasonable.
Not to mention he still doesn't even know what Taeman actually does. Plus, like Taeman himself said, Taeman has always wished for a normal life and to be a regural person (this has been shown to us in glimpses throughout the story multiple times even before Taeman put it into words). And it was Dahyeok who pulled those feelings, which Taeman had suppressed to the point of becoming indifferent to basically everything, out to the open and made Taeman realize what he wants and who he actually is under "the killer" mask.
