So I'm guessing they were friends before. This new character is suicidal or just simply loves cutting himself. Hooni was still happy then until his parents died where he lost the will to live. This character probably taught Hooni how to escape reality and must be why Hooni now cuts himself to relieve his stress because he believed in this friend's words. Idk tho, just a theory.

So I'm guessing what Oscar wants to tell them that day he fell on the cliff is that he's the true heir but is willing to give up the throne for our ml. But then he fell off cliff and his memories reverted to when he was 15. During that time, he probably still wished to covet his rightful place in the throne hence the betrayal to fl and company. But the Oscar before losing his memories probably realized a better way to live life that he's willing to give up the throne. But then he forgot this resolve due to amnesia. And like wtf.
I like how Oscar and Gerard are arguing passionately meanwhile the readers are like, "Please don't fall. Please don't fall. Don't you dare fall down thag cliff."
