Tbh I think Mimiko and Dan would be a cute couple. Teiichi is just too immersed in his politics to treat Mimiko how she deserves to be treated. Since Dan isn’t super big on the whole thing (at least to the degree Teiichi is) he would be able to give Mimiko more attention.
