I understand what you mean but the shonen ai “Never Understand” showed me that what’s in the inside is the only thing that matters. So if he was “ugly” (which sounds horrible to say even if he is fiction) I wouldn’t change my feelings. Actually you may feel that way yourself but I know that beauty does play a major role in how you view people wether it’s in society and even worst in the case of fiction lol I’ve asked many people this including some I know and they had no shame telling me that they wouldn’t care if he wasn’t attractive.
