The harem hardly affects the story at this point of the story, tbh there's only Karen that actively tries to attract Akira
I agree, many people are off out by harem but when it's done like this, it's minimal, and secondly not in your face. Most mangas that have harem are very out about it, they make it the entire plot and end up failing. This one has plot, and it's not over the top with it. It's mentioned and assumed but not the main theme hopefully the kept it up
