No, it was the sudden realization that all her life she was trying her best to not be a burden or overshadow the brothers - family. She kept her tears from shedding by smiling, she kept her fear from showing by being polite. When the brother saw her skills he then realized that the child he saw in the past wasn't her trueself - she had been pretending to be less skilled then what she was. I don't believe he realized it was her, it was more like he realized that if she were still in the ronan family happily she could have easily won that tournament similar to Liz, because they were both petite figure with enormous strength. Then again he could have realzized, but not really from my understanding.

More so, they didn't change because they realized how skilled she was. They changed becaue instead of being hungry for affection and love from her family she showed that she no longer cares if she was loved or not. This was when they realized they were pieces of shit.

Wow... so they thought her affection was something very normal and something they were entitled to, no matter how terribly they treat her?

And Char separating herself from the family and being successful by her own strength is all it took?

But I don't think they cared wether she was succesful or not. They'd eventaully realize that they were too hard on her even if she hadn't accumalated all that honor and fame.

No,well maybe if her attitude towards them change when she left. It's basically the same kind of shit in real life. When a person who was usually affectionate, hungry for your attention, would do anything to talk to you suddenly stops being like that, is only when you start to notice how much you really care for them. It's not rocket science, and it has been appearing in almost every manwha/manga/manhua/light novel/novels/fanfiction- basically any story. These kinds of scenarios are really common. If she just left to get married and is still affectionate towards them then likely no, it would probably not have made them realize. Besides, why would they care if she was a grandmaster or not, remember the father also told her something along the lines of "Now we're the first family to support the crown prince" meaning the father was just being burderned for her success. Hencing her asking for a disownement.They wouldn't care if she was skilled or not.

If she hadn't went to the imperial palace, and still contiue to act differently just like the firt 2 years of when she went back to the past, eventually they too would realize her worth. Didn't the father ask how was she doing since he no longer sees her around the house- yeah that was the father's newly found curoisty of why she wasn't as affectionate as before, he just shut it down because he still resents her but given the time he would eventually soften his heart which would have made me frown.

Gee that's gotta be tough - I mean me and my mom aren't really at best friend terms, because her idea of LGBTQ was that of uhm unfavorable? I could say, and I'm part of the LGBTQ so...... Yeah mine too, except they really don't want to learn and are very Avant Garde about hating on LGBT community. I'm from that community too, but I don't think I can tell them in this lifetime.
