Well, to clarify, Potato tried that spray with Doc Dan just moments before it was switched out and Doc Dan used the wrong one on Jaekyung. When everyone was asking what happened and Jaekyung all but tore Doc Dan to pieces because of it, Potato just stood there and said nothing. I mean, he TESTED it as well. Even if he couldn’t tell Jaekyung, if he had told the Manager or the coach that he had tested the spray with Doc Dan and it was fine, then everyone would have suspected something was up even before Jaekyung went up there to fight.
It might not have solved the problem but it would have given Doc Dan some respite because then everyone would know that something was up.
This might not seem like such a big deal to others but it is to me because for days I kept expecting him to say something while Doc Dan was feeling like shit and he didn’t until everything had already blown over. Then he miraculously heard that conversation and thankfully, he decided to speak up by then. But I consider that to be medicine after death.
For this reason, no matter how hard I try, I cannot bring myself to read any of the special chapters that features his story and if any chapter featuring the main couple also features his ship, I would skip over those panels.
Usually, I don’t bother trying to explain myself to others so I would not be going over this again. This is my personal opinion on the matter and I am not changing my mind about it.
