I will say I know this looks bad as a situation but I promise you the actual novel is a lot more interesting like what the other comments are saying. And the novel is super detailed, I haven't read it in a hot minute but I'm fairly certain that these first 3 manhwa chapters have covered something like 10 of the novel chapters and poorly at that

The end of chapter 30 is breathtaking in terms of that transition and how murky reality and the memory become. I hope people just appreciated it at lesst since I haven't seen anyone mention it yet but it had me stop in my tracks to just reread that smoothness.
I love manhwa artists that take advantage of the visual medium like that, idk I feel almost more obsessed with how beautiful that presentation was than the ending of the season but it's also a pretty neat season ending too

Ngl I don't know what is putting me through this series because generally speaking this situation where one is pushing so hard while the other is pulling so hard isn't my cup of tea, but I'm starting to understand. It's because in this case it's unstoppable sword meeting unbreakable shield so they're both the same amount of stubborn. And it's also because they're both just two broken people trying their best in a way?
It's not like they let their pasts overtly make them act one way or another, it's super subconscious and subtle. Idk I just like this because they're super flawed but it feels weirdly believable with how those flaws come out and I love them for it
Honestly maybe I just have bad taste, but this is a manhwa I wait for every monday, like I read so many manhwa with a lot being romance specifically so how'd this series become the one I'm always looking forward to, why's it so comfy

I really like this story so far, the localizing is phenomenal, really puts you in the setting, and the set up of the powers that be in the nobility is interesting. But on an emotional level I'm just angry with this darn prince, I hate it when lovers are torn apart and I was rooting for childhood friend
Hoping that we get to see circumstances extraordinary enough to break up this whole engagement and get childhood friend his lover. I agree it's probably going to happen because of a deal between luce and ayle

I'm kind of dying to know why he's like this and just what the circumstances actually are because it feels like og iheon is going to be significant (bro spends all day comparing ml and his namesake). I also like how blasé and unbothered he is, it makes the scenes between mc and the ml feel very fresh when it's just our boy being exasperated or playing cute with him.

MY GUY COULDN'T HAVE BEEN ANY MORE SUSPICIOUS AS HE KIDNAPS A WOMAN, THIS ISN'T DOING YOU ANY FAVORS IN HER BOOKS BRO SHE ALREADY HATES YOU
He's so cringe I can't look away, imagine just hovering there menacingly, floating a woman up to you and then fleeing, this is like that one scene from the future arc of sailor moon where a villain kidnaps her, it's 2 am and I'm just snickering at the audacity of this man
That last panel is the cover page awwww
