People are kinda wondering how Maki asking for consent and punching/kidnapping him in ch 1 can coexist but I think it's cuz he's yakuza and probably does that a lot at work. Like r*pe and kidnapping are pretty different crimes and he's probably kidnapped people before, but there's a big ass moral boundary with rape ya know

I love seeing character growth but it's really disappointing if it doesn't happen so does anyone know if she actually grows as a character in the end?
Isn't she already showing character growth? Standing up for herself, leaving the house, not letting comments get to her too much, etc. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
It's so interesting how complex these characters are. They never act outright shady usually and yet you get this sense that none of them are trustworthy and there's something going on below the surface. Even Suu, sure he's in it to get him and Nadan out but it just feels like he's more shady than that. Idk I've never mistrusted a main character this much wow
