Usually you read psychological and it's either gonna be a hit or miss on how satisfying the ending is. This one is a definite hit. The ending was so satisfying for what happened to the characters and what they've done. I like the tl note about this not being the ideal ending for us but for them because you get the sense that this is the only thing that could satisfy them with their situations and personalities. This ending is amazing
Also that art style is so gorgeously detailed. All of the hatching on the background just kills me to think about. Every single bit is so detailed and well drawn
Ngl with most mcs it's like "my boss is hot and I'm attracted but Imma stay at this job even tho things are getting spicey and dicey" but this mc knows when to dip lol
I can respect a guy who knows his limits. Now how will the boss stop him from resigning? This is gonna be a hilarious train wreck I can already tell
This is basically orv but mc is less mysterious and it's actually romance.
Both mc's love the original protagonist and want to support their goals (I mean sure everything else might be completely different but eh close enough)
Oh I'm so happy you asked! orv is short for omniscient reader which is a korean webnovel (translated on the app webnovel) that is absolutely amazing and it actually has a webtoon up on webtoon now. Tho it's not at all shoujo romance like these it's just kinda an action adventure book but it's absolutely brilliant and I really ship the mc and protagonist with each other so I thought I'd make a joke about it
But I agree this really has a "Sincerely I Became a Duke's Maid" vibe to it with the storyline because ml is destitute child and the maid mc is the only one that cares for them

So idk how this is gonna go from here but man that is uncomfortable. It's a great depiction, but really uncomfortable
