Honestly I think what gets me about the comment section a lot of the time is that it's really focused on whether they're getting together or not and I think that's fine but I like living in the story moment and sitting here enjoying that we're seeing this guy get portrayed as vulnerable, emotional and on the cusp of a breakdown while he throws his authority around and I think that's neat
Maybe it's just me but the way this manhwa shows us emotions is so enjoyable to read, like you get "male lead running after fl" a dime a dozen but it's usually just about him suffering realizing how much he loves a woman, running after her and going "you can never leave me" etc etc fuzzy borderline yandere feelings
Here it feels like he's lost in a lot more ways, like we just saw a big emotional beat for her when she lives to pursue her own happiness, now we get to see a big emotional beat for him where he's conflating him finding Lily a bit with him being a proper duke and being able to achieve the things he wants to achieve
Sorry this is just a lot of talking I'm just in love with the presentation of this manhwa and I like yapping a lot haha
This is just gonna be one of those tense and scary ones huh, ganbarre main character, you're gonna need all the lick you can get
You know people who are like "I love my OC's so I make them suffer"? This artist is like the final boss of that because dear lord Nicholas just gets put through the wringer each story

Seeing the king with his hair and his kids with the either cocker spaniels or king charles spaniels really made me remember something I love about this manga and it's the fact that it's a great blend between sort of modern looks and more dated stuff

The thing is he is straight and he thinks it's just friendly stuff, also he probably don't know how others feel specially Hanjun, cus they literally spend their lives togother.
I mean I get that he's straight but let me just say being straight doesn't absolve you of playing with other's feelings just because you want your relationship with someone a certain way. Yujae is acting selfishly here, even if he doesn't realize it he's only thinking of what he wants

So anyways, I feel like artist-nim improved in drawing faces a bit, our boy looks so pretty with his hair down this chapter I could almost forget the bs that esteban has been spewing. Almost.
He looks absolutely gorgeous here, I bookmarked every frame of him so I could come back and save the pictures later
