Yall I don't even think doseong was a ghost, I think he was fully a hallucination because the photo next to the graffiti was cut off screen. A ghost may not show on pictures either, but it gives me the feeling that Jinhyeok was truly just alone in his grief going thru it ╥﹏╥
I went in to this knowing there's only 6 chapters and from the death at the beginning I had a feeling it was just tragedy, so I couldn't even read the smut. What's the point of seggsy times when Ik doseong is dead?!??
It reminds me of the mom in Babadook

I really hate the parents. The abusive coercion and control is really triggering. The MC is a good kid and a strong character. Experiencing that kinda stuff makes kids prone to sexual abuse or dangerous behaviours just to feel some control over their own lives. He only drinks a small box of milk when he's anxious. Someone else would have developed an eating disorder. The smoking and the online porny things he was doing gives me the vibe of self-harm too.
It makes me sad, my shaylaaaaa ╥﹏╥
I'm seeing in the comments ppl rlly don't like old soo han. Which is fair bc his behaviour isn't right. But I think his feelings are valid.
He's suffocated by the financial dependence, and there's anger at a societal system that pretty much only benefits the already rich and keeps the rich richer. The access to good schooling. Technology, food, clean safe homes. The more he plays into model behaviour, it kinda feels like whoring yourself out for material gifts. Logically, nobody will like someone who isn't nice or reward morally bad behaviour. But rmb he's an omega, so he's facing a lot of sex-based discrimination and harassment. He's been receiving unfair treatment already for his best behaviour. It just feels like a shitty deal of a life all around, I understand why he'd want to rebel against the system and act out, and why he has a lot of resentment. Bc realistically he can't win in life without hand downs from upper class, purely bc of the cards he was born with.
Ofc he's upset being born in poverty and violence and with no support system. Having rich patrons only emphasises the conditional nature of his relationships. When u grow up alone just wishing for unconditional love bc u didn't get that from ur parents or ur childhood/home life was unstable, that's like massively triggering.
And to see a child born of privilege, who hasn't ever rlly suffered. Your hatred for the system transfers to the objects that benefit from the system. They say "don't shoot the messenger". But if you can't change or fight the system, the only thing that u can affect is what's literally closest to you: people.
And this kid is the only one who loves him purely. It's ridiculous and ironic. It would feel like giving in to the system to accept his love and even feeding in to the system to love the kid back. Do yall get it?
There's no justifying him trying to kill yeon seo. But his feelings and the way he was is understandable to me. I hope yall can empathise w someone who has been thru so much. The violent anger from this kind of specific circumstances is rlly like nothing else.
Esp from a kid who was kind thruout. He cared for his grandma. If yall have relatives w dementia or have been carers, if uk uk. He's obeyed his absent violent dad. He has been kind to yeon seo and cared for him, despite his conflicted feelings.
This was a good read for me u have a way with words brah
Thank you (⌒▽⌒)
I didn't really mind his old personality cus that's pretty understandable given his circumstances but everything changed when he actually tried to kill the kid, twice on top of that...
And most people dislike him because of this same reason too....sooo....
And you can sympathize with a person and dislike them at the same time too...
I definitely understand it to an extent, but his attitude is completely unacceptable. He definitely could’ve taken time to talk about how he felt instead of rebelling in a way that would only hurt the one person that truly cares for him. Angrily acting out usually won’t solve much of anything and can sometimes make the situation worse. Yes, his feelings aren’t invalid, but you’d think someone would possibly be willing to speak on their feelings instead of bottling them up.
