I loved the first story but so far this sequel with the sun has been absolute garbage. Is there a redemption arc or is this shit storm what we swimming in until the end?

I followed the link to the novel and am on chapter 85/170 right now. It's a rollercoaster for sure.
I read this whole thing in about 3 hours and it was wild! I almost wish yoowol didn't end up with any of them but I liked the ending. (⊙…⊙ )
I think for a slice of life manwha it had a fine ending! Hopefully there will be some extras but I'm satisfied if there aren't.
