So glad I decided to pick this up years later after dropping it bc there weren't enough chapters. I read everything in one sitting and this was such a refreshing read from your typical shoujo reincarnation/Isekai story. Amazing read, truly and with such a wonderful ending!
But y'all are glazing what Aeroc has done to Kloff too. Like, I know it doesn't justify anything and honestly NEITHER of them should be glossed over because what they both did in season one was extremely wrong on so many levels. What Aeroc had done to Rapiel, no matter if he (SPOILERS) just wanted to 'scare' him he should've never done that in the first place. Rapiel was literally pregnant. What did he expect was going to happen to him? He's an Omega ffs. I also want to say that I don't blame Kloff for acting out the way he did in retaliation but what he did was still extremely wrong on so many different levels.
Season 1 was such a stressful and genuine psychological torture for me. I don't think I've ever read anything like that before it's just...overall soooo...aughhh... It was really rough sitting through without me wanting to drop it due to discomfort but I pushed through and just hope that the do-over closes a lot of holes and wounds since they're basically getting a do over

But at some point, that revenge stopped being about justice and turned into something selfish. That’s where Kloff started to go off track.
If you actually read the novel, you’d know that in both seconds and third lives, Aeroc pushed Kloff away. But in the both life, it was Kloff who approached him. Even the original Kloff admitted that what he did wasn’t driven by love for Raphael—it came more from insecurity.
In the second life, Kloff openly said he despised Aeroc because he couldn’t have him. That’s when the line between victim and perpetrator started to blur. Aeroc admitted his wrongdoings, accepted the consequences, and endured all the punishment and abuse. Kloff, on the other hand, never fully took accountability. Even in the third life, he claimed he wanted to punish himself—not for what he did, but because he fell in love with the man he blamed for his husband’s death.
So no, it wasn’t just about revenge anymore—it became desire, obsession, and self-hate. That’s what made it tragic.
