I also draw as my job. And i can say that theres no slarcking here. That is what you call an ARTSTYLE. Its suppose to be like that. It can also be for faster release of the chapters, which is around 20 pages with multiply panels per chapters. :D

i feel the same way too. i haven’t read the novel so i’m not sure if it’s true but i feel like there’s a reason he was so cold. more than just being busy with work. and i’m happy this isn’t gonna be a toxic relationship and may actually get better now that she’s being herself.

That's right. He truly loves mc and their child but he have to pretend to be cold to them for their safety. He's actually knew that she's not the real Veronica. I read spoiler that he prepared like a safe place for her, and planned to hide her there, but unfortunately she was killed before that. I think after that, he killed the real veronica? In one side story, he tell his son about his mother. He regrets that he doesn't even know her real name. He also told him she is the 'shadow queen'.
