Mom and hyesung were both verbally and mentally abused, mom got physically abused too. Still sucks that mom left but I don't blame her with how toxic the environment is so am waiting on her side of the story. The dad on the other hand caused so much trauma that hyesung is so mentally unstable and drained that he shuts everyone out and second guesses everything...

The father left Hye-sung with his mother (Hye-sung's grandmother) and married to some omega. The grandmother was another prick who neglected Hye-sung just to enjoy gambling. Only when she died that the father came back.

I also agree with you all but I think the father didn't really meant what he said...
Cause like if he really did hate Hyesung that much and he wanted to get rid of him they would've got abortion...

I've seen worse so I don't think the father is that much of an evil person...
Besides most of the time in this type of shits the father just said that in the heat of the moment or the mc misunderstood the things he said...

Mental abuse should never be justified. That's basically downplaying Hyesung's trauma to his father. And that's toxic as fuck. The guy literally fainted from the stress his father caused, and that extremely says smth about his trauma given that Hyesung seems to be a physically healthy person. This ain't even about either of the parents. The only one you should be siding right now is Hyesung and Hyesung alone. This ain't a game about who was the better parent.

That doesn't work like that. Some ppl are just sick fucks and decide to carry infants in full term just to abuse them. This is fictional, I know, but not even in fiction can that idea be considered logical and making sense. Give the father the benefit of the doubt, go on. But intentionally or not, he traumatized Hyesung, and you or anyone should not turn a blind eye on that.

To add, this mindset and comparison and contrast is so detrimental to victims. Abuse is not a game of who had it worse. Please never do that again. I'm sorry for sounding so triggered, but I really am. As a victim of emotional abuse, your comments are just not it. It invalidates victims' experiences with the idea of some people having it worse than them as a tool. Please stop with that.

I've always supported Hyesung all the time From his bashers and those assholes that has been saying shit about this webtoon for so long XD
Hyesung is also my favorite character so how could I hate him...
And I'll never set aside the mental abuses a person got from someone cause just like you and them I've also been through some stuff so I understand...

Also I'm saying "I've seen worse" not because I want to compare them but because I want to show the readers who are over reacting that they should calm down for a sec cause we don't know the whole story yet ...

I'm the type of person who tries to understand the villains before judging them so I can say whether they truly are evil for me...
And RN the father is the one I'm siding with not because I like him or anything but because his story kinda makes sense but I'm not gonna decide yet because Hyesungs mom haven't said anything yet...

I'm also deciding who's to side with not because I like any of them but because Hyesung is the one their gonna be with..
They'll be beside Hyesung and I don't want Hyesung to be with the a parent who is lying to him without him even knowing...
Dying while not knowing the whole truth and living your life surrounded by lies is one of the things I don't ever want Hyesung to live like ..
But unless we know who's telling the truth that's how Hyesungs life will be...
