I'm not religious either. If you really think about it tho, can't incest actually be extremely risky? Not just bc of laws but like, what if the couple tries to have kids? They're gambling with someone else's life. And how do you fall in love like that with someone you grew up with? I picture it like "I watched my brother's birth but I've fallen in love, want to have sex with him and live with him for the rest of my life as a couple." That's too uncomfortable. Like I get that not every incestuous relationship starts off from close relatives but it's still rlly risky...

It's risky bc of the disorders, diseases, and disabilities the baby of an incestuous couple could come out with. For some families, it's riskier than most bc they have too much incest aka similar DNA. But ig it's okay as long as you just like the fictional stuff...
