Exactly. And then there are people saying it’s good writing, like “read the novel.” Sorry, but I don’t see any beauty in a piece of shit getting happy ending. After what he’s done, he’s irredeemable, and I’d at least feel some comfort if the author even tried to address it. But no, apparently the “beauty” is that it’s a true enemies to lovers story. Like bro, there’s a limit to what can turn into love. Some things are unforgivable…ethnic cleansing, genocide, mass murder, repeated rape are among those things. After that, enemies to lovers completely fails, unless everyone dies and respawns into a new life. Honestly, people saying “he’s irredeemable but it’s still a good story” sound like the type who’d read a love story between Hitler and a Holocaust survivor if it was written decently.

Fr! Like I admit, I tolerate this kind of trope on some yaoi stories especially the popular one's but eventually it gets to a point where I just get annoyed everytime I try to read the updates.

It’s pretty well written though the obvious power dynamics and nonconsensual sex can definitely feel hard to read. I think I like how multifaceted everyone feels, like you can see them existing irl. And the narrative and themes are pretty compelling to me, since I like studying psych and behaviors (trauma, nurture vs nature, etc)

The story is good, but yall need to set your phone down and look at the world around u a bit. Like that’s not healthy sweetie, hope this helps
