Yeah sure but clearly everyone is on her side. The prince, the queen, almost everyone except Eris. Sure, there was a power imbalance but everyone trusts and loves her. If she was smart enough, she could have cleared the misunderstanding. She could have at least tried to explain the whole situation and save everyone. But no. She was too drunk in her own miserable life, embracing that victim-side of hers, and decided to shut her mouth. She could have spoken her mind. She could have saved everyone because THAT'S the power she has. She has everyone on her side except for Eris. But at least if she was the kind girl everyone thought her to be, she could have used that to clear everything. We don't hate her. We just don't like her and I understand why Eris feels the same.
I'm pretty sure everyone who loves her would trust what she says as long as she's sincere. Maybe Eris and she wouldn't be in this kind of situation if she at least tried. She should have at least tried no matter how the situation would end.
