they really didn't have to include the 'fateful destined partner from childhood' trope. I'm pretty sure this wasn't in the novel and I much preferred it that way.
hmmm, this story really picked up and shined during its flashback. I feel the storytelling in present is not written as well, the flow from one scene to another is slightly choppy and leaves the reader disoriented.
i thoroughly enjoyed this series but tbh the ending encompassing the last maybe 10 chapters felt rushed and unexplained, lots of loose ends that weren't really resolved. ie. What happened to the Azurites? Why was Solhwa suddenly with Jin, how did they capture the shaman?
in all honesty i think this story has been going quite downhill in the past like 20 or so chapters with the artist change as well, I feel like the characters lack expression and they give me completely different vibes from before because of it. I think i will just read it in one go once it ends.
