Probably a dumb question but how tf do drivers work like I've heard in so many mangas drivers that come to drive the clients car and take them somewhere but Do they drive to the persons location with their car then drive in that car to the persons place and then what do they have to walk back to their car

Depends I think, some drivers are live-in like some housekeepers are. They have quarters. But some who have families outside, commutes early to go to their clients and commutes home(if they could) so yeah they have very tiring job as well. Drivers for conglomerates are usually on standbys, the cars are there in the company and they are on standby as long as they arent needed. Then once the secretaries call, they would have to take the car out from the parking lot and meet their boss at the entrance... There are also services wherein you call a driver to drive for you if for example you are unable to drive because you are drunk, basically they just drive you home leaving you and your car in your destination. So yeah if the driver can afford to buy a motorbike/bike thats what they use to go to their boss' house or something to get their boss car and drive them but if doesnt have the money, then he will likely be just commuting or walking to their client's location to get their car and drive them. And we also have the famous uber or grab but for that one they own the car. As for taxis, some taxis are owned by company and therefore some cars are not owned by the drivers.

What he is talking about is the designated driver service in SK. Since SK has a huge population of people who drink, they developed a service where if you are drunk and have your car with you, you can call a service and you'll get a driver who'll drive you home. So people can sign up for this service as a driver like people can sign up for Uber except they don't need to have a car just driving license. Once a customer requests a service, nearby drivers will be notified and one of them can accept it. They go to whereever the customer is, drop them off to their destination and get back on their own. It is cheaper then getting a cab for the customer bc the gas and car is their's. It also resolves the problem of having to park a car somewhere then going back to get it when you are sober. For the drivers they are often in profit bc SK has a good public transport system and they can also get tips sometimes. Or they can just keep picking rides till they get somehwhere near their home.
