Based on what I read, there's no real love triangle, but there would be a guy who would be the ML misunderstood as being intimate (?) with the MC. In my understanding, MC knew his limits and when he said he would not love the ML anymore, he really did. That's why ML would be crawling for him to get him back.
Oh noooo intimate as in sex or the hand and kissing stuff. I really hope the misunderstanding is cleared up though I know some mangas just never clear it up
Don't worry, such a thing hasn't happened. ML thought MC was doing something with the other guy and had a relationship with that dude. If I remember right, their relationship at that time was a bit rocky(?).

I don't quite remember but I think it does. If I remember right, ML thinks that MC wouldn't do such things with others because he knew him so well. He just disliked MC being with others.
