Man, I want to like this so much but the fundamentals just don't make sense. Like writing a bestselling crime non the less is hard so the author should be Hella smart, yet he doesn't even think to open a second package and goes back into his own broken in house again? Also the bodyguard is so unprofessional from the start, the whole one flash drive also is a major red flag, writing a book would have so much planning, and he is a two times author, it just doesn't make sense.
His readers would 100% know it is his from the writing style and everything, that people would definitely tell, readers are way smarter than that.
It’s fiction so from the start I don’t think it was that deep for you to criticize off real life situations and sometimes they put fictional things that seem like they should be common sense to a character to keep the plot going or to add a twist there are many perspectives of fundamentals if you wanna get technical...
I know it's fiction but still, what makes a story good is if it makes sense to it's own story and laws. Bad writing is when u have a million plot hope, like people say some people just have different standards and for me, plot holes are always bad especially major ones that takes u out of the story. Just bad writing and and valid critism.
I understand but the whole point of him going back is for him to eventually get kidnapped like showed at the beginning and I would go back to my own house because it’s comfortable for me their and a lot of artist have the same writing still with little to no difference it’s not very common but the author could have left it up to us that he changed things when he stole the book and I would especially go back home because o have a bodyguard I feel safe with . But again like you said their are different viewpoints and like I said different fundamentals As these things I said came as common sense to me guess it didn’t to other people ?
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Probably I think this is also their first book so there’s room for mistake :) but I love how you were constructive about it !!! Because in no way am I saying your points aren’t valid because they are and your not fussy to me I feel like it’s nice to find someone being honest and willing to share viewpoints and opinions with me :)
(I have no idea why he doesnt think of cameras but maybe the stalker got it covered )
Regarding the plagiarism thing, it didn't mean the plagiarist stole the flash drive and copy pasted it. The plagiarist read the whole work, and just copied the structure (characters, plot development) i.e., giving different names to essentially similar characters, and having them lead to the same situations and conclusions as mc's characters, but in the plagiarist's writing style (it's what mc thinks when he reads the plagiarized book). The only trace it has of mc is the idea since it was stolen pre-publishing. Plus, we only know it bc we saw it happen. So yes, readers would be clueless.
Ohhhh that makes a lot more sense then, I still think that if he was actually writing the book he would have previous evidence, but the point u made makes a lot of sense. Also idk what would happen irl but he released his book not long after and it's not like he could have written and published it in a few days, that alone would make the whole situation more fishy, at least for the first guy too.
Right?? It's not like he can create stuff in a short time?? But then I realized that was exactly what the plagiarist did. Plus, the disagreement with that asshole reporter, coupled with mc's personality and his reputation among co-workers only makes it worse *sad jaehwa noises* Also, I forgot if it was mentioned but was he planning to take it to court?
(for irl i've read some plagiarism cases where the plagiarized authors/artists lost, sadly)
What they lost? Man that sucks, also I think that the person who took it may have had some time since it they plan to take it he may have already sorted out sketchy publishing, and he got some decent time too, since MC had to write it all again from memory. I'm just annoyed that happened in the first place, it's like the dumbest thing ever, especially with the flash drive. Actually the editor who lost it should be fired.
Idk if jaehwa's gonna lose or if he's gonna file a case at all ╮(╯_╰)╭ But yeah, irl, i vaguely remember it happened in the manga industry?
Also yo why doesnt he keep back-ups... But then again, no one really expects that a lost flash drive would lead to plagiarism. I agree tho, it's so frustrating asdhflgjl hopefully we see a satisfying development & conclusion to the plagiarism case _(:3」∠ )_
Sorry, I meant Jaehwa as in the mc of this story, because I wasn't sure if he was planning on suing the other author.
for the irl case: I remember Takashima Kazusa and Kayono case. Both are mangakas. There are probably plenty of articles in the net comparing manga panels. Basically, Takashima lost even though Kayono plagiarized Takashima's work.
The circumstances are quite different from mc's, considering his was stolen before it was published (so i think his would be harder to prove? idk) while Kayono did it after Takashima's work was published. Nevertheless, it shows it's possible to lose a supposedly winning battle.

If they become a second couple I will knock a star of, he deserves the hate.
