we all knew that qi lin didnt hold that much.... love for her parents or anyone for that matter seeing as she was treated as an outcast for being a girl. the moment qi lin was born the relationship of her parents was sure to go downhill, clearly it did with the affairs and the abuse qi lin has gone through the years.

on average i probably have read the chaps more than 10x now and cang shu would always.... always.... puts her head near qi lin's chest. be it comfort or just wanting to be close.
exhibit a: the cultural festival with the annoying kid who wanted to kiss qi lin. cang shu deliberately teased him by being close and just rests her head on qi lin's shoulder.
exhibit b: the christmas event with the stalker and they just sat together and cang shu does it again.

it's surprising to see that cang shu thinks of luo yi si as a frend considering the past chapter where she basically annihilated her lmao. it's good to know she can make frends outside her already known circle and makes an effort to be a part of something aka she bought that keychain and is now helping luo yi si with props (even if she cant do art for her life) and to think that she knows that luo yi si can take a verbal beatdown so she asked for help in behalf of du mian who desperately needs to shut up for once and THINK about her words affect people.

cang shu may be a prodigy but that doesnt mean she isnt human. her growth from chap 1 with "i dont need frends" to "i have frends" is remarkable in a way. u can see the bits where she becomes so so soft towards her peers especially qi lin because shes aka her bff (gf soon hehe)
qi lin on the other hand can be read as an open book. her feelings are very forward and cares so much for cang cang!!! god i know she has a rough past i think we need to delve into that more. also the fact that they met as kids and the rubiks cube is still there!! cang cang knows!!! qi lin doesnt!! your honour they are star crossed lovers!!!
