I’ll point out the main events that I remember. After our most hated Rosemund dies, Patrizia becomes to worn she wants to leave the palace and Lucio, slowly realising he can’t live without her, basically courts her to stay. So she stays (It’s not as strong as the redemption arc we’ve been waiting for) and we see a bit of Lucio being human.
It ends with Nilla’s wedding (yes she got her happy ending) where Pat and Luc are watching from the back where they say their I love yous.
I believe there are side stories and heard they have babies but I can’t confirm it myself. And I felt there would be more excitement if Pat left and maybe came back (time skip) cos the story immediately became anticlimatic as soon as Rose died. Basically bcos she was the only character making problems and sprouting events in the story.

I wrote a really really long spoiler that summed everything up in my topics somewhere. Anyways (spoiler)
It actually is really interesting. Even lucio’s redemption part. It’s soooo satisfying, basically rose mound just gradually digs her grave. She teams up with January, the mistress of the Duke, and Rosemund gets adopted into this duke’s family to raise her status. Rosemund has the duke’s weakness, which is that he drugged the duchess, raped her, got her pregnant, and then the next morning made the duchess believe that she came onto him. The duchess is the one with the ducal bloodline so the duke(previously the second son of a baron) had wanted to get with her for status. To sum it up, January tries to become duchess and teams up with rose,one, the duchess finds out about the duke’s secret and January and Rosemund, then the whole thing is exposed.
It’s been a while and I may be wrong but I think Rosemund tried to assassin the empress or someone later, then she gets found out. Lucio basically gives up on Rosemund at the point and she goes to trial. She’s executed. After that it’s Lucio trying to do everything he can for Patrizia but ofc our queen Patrizia doesn’t let him go easy and it takes a lot to even get her over a bit. Patrizia really only feels pity for him and it gradually turns into some sort of feeling of angry love, which she can’t really understand herself.
Also earlier Rosemund told Patrizia that she was infertile but this was actually false. Patrizia later on gifted Rosemund a perfume which made her infertile. Rosemund tried to get out of her execution sentence by saying she bore the royal heir, but Patrizia told her she was infertile, which made Rosemund go crazy.

I cracked when he said “MY SULTANA” lol but I disagree with some comments below. 7 yrs isn’t bad considering the era of the story. Also this is a rare one where a damsel in distress FL actually fits so well. She grew up with limited knowledge and confined in a small environment. She could be strong af like our villainess FLs by gaining self confidence and seeing the power she has over Kainer but we’ll see.
