I’m rooting for this and the artist but season 1 perfectly captured the novel’s tone and characters esp Patrizia her silent turmoils and coldness! and even the diabolical Rose.
S2 brings very expressive fl and ml which is something I’m rlly expecting after concubine’s death when they rlly begin focusing on each other. Even tho it’s following the main novel events the childlike appearance kinda blurs the characters’ personalities and own vibe.
Tho I’m happy for the artist on the improvement (expressions and body proportions of lucio lol) Also what happened to his hair

Not sure what you’re addressing but the author introduced his character indirectly, almost as a wallpaper being yuriel’s 2nd ho which makes little impact to me as a reader. Ettsen called dibs on being the naughty one and nadrica on selfish. Tho he makes a reliable advisor, it doesn’t go beyond romantic shipping.
It’s such a small thing but yea I’m not rooting for him as much as nadrica or eclot, or even the tanned knight who was introduced later.
