Yes, Marielle gets lost in her own world, but all she said involved a woman's feelings that she does understand exactly because she is in a position where she needs to marry who her father tells her to, even though the love there is mutual. If they don't want her emotions talking, they shouldn't involve her in the first place.

Well, in the novel, I think the MC repaid the villagers, way too much probably. He basically overturn the whole atmosphere of the village that the development of the village went up by like 10 levels. He provided them with expensive threads only for noble, meat, a lot of potions, well pump (which doesn't exist there), etc.

Isaji, from what was given in the end notes of chapter 17, might have died in war since Misao was seen in a picture along with the Memorial building. This is all yet to be confirmed.
