It’s kinda annoying me how unattracted he is to the 2 espers… like he’s not attracted to them romantically at all ╥﹏╥ atp when the romance does start I feel like it will seem very forced…? Hope I’m proven wrong though ( ̄∇ ̄")

Yeah it is a slow burn but in good slow burns the leads have some sort of connection or attraction or affection for each other from the beginning, which gives a reason for the relationship to keep developing for as long as it does. For this one, I don’t see any real connection from the mc’s side apart from literal concern. Like he’s worried about a lion in a cage, In a very literal sense. So I don’t really like it right now.. idk how they’re gonna turn things around ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

I personally don’t like when BLs portray a totally straight guy who randomly becomes gay. It makes it seem like being attracted to the same sex is by random choice…? Especially in this manhua where the mc literally shows 0 romantic interest in any guys and only likes girls, and has continued to show no romantic interest in any of the other male leads. It just doesnt feel natural so I don’t like it so far (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Uh yeah not talking about real sexualities… it’s just that in my opinion it doesn’t feel right in a narrative sense.. bc even when he’s alone/ thinking to himself he doesn’t seem to harbour any romantic affection for them (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 narratively this bothers me . Ike there seems to be no build up ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
This was an amazing read
I’m surprised that ppl are shocked abt hime getting w cafe guy ( ̄∇ ̄")From their first few encounters I already felt like hime was at least somewhat attracted to him (there’s a particular panel that I recall off the top of my head). And tbh I really appreciate how Akira and hime went their separate ways instead of getting together. I think that is ultimately the most in-character and natural thing for them to do. Akira seems straight. Hime had held on to her love for a long time but it was clear to me that because of her complex relationship with Akira, hime couldn’t fully embrace her femininity. I think she needed a boyfriend like cafe guy. (⌒▽⌒)
The timeskip was a bit jarring but it’s nice to see how Akira went and did all the things she wanted to, and hime finally got to find out and be who she is as a woman. I think it’s also cool to see how cisgender people can grapple with queer experiences as well, like not wanting to be perceived as a woman or having no romantic attraction (▰˘◡˘▰) this story gives me the feeling that in the end, queer experiences are normal, and ultimately no matter who you are it’s a long process and journey to find out your true identity! ┗( T﹏T )┛
