...after reading the updates (I was dead tired. I stayed up late watching Hell Girl...lol), I came to this conclusion. I think everyone is surprised because all the adults in this situation came to the same conclusion, that Shou wanted to sleep his way to the top. Although Katou eloquently explained the ramifications he still came up with that answer. It is not because of who Shou is but because of the director himself with whom he was associating with outside of work. The kicker is that Shou was too shocked to defend himself. I've been in situations where I was too shocked to say anything and it is better to keep my mouth shut and prove them wrong. I hate to argue. I loathe arguing.
Youji, the ever loving watchdog, isn't as delicate and it's hard to convince him of anything once his blood boils. But what really surprised me was the manager. Don't get me started on his mom either! I could empathize with Shou at this point. All the adults involved with him seems as though they are against him. BUT, he's got his father's blood in his veins and his mother's calculative thinking in him so I think that he will be alright in the long run.
I'm happy that Katou is his real father. Katou has a motherly instinct due to his connection with Youji's nephew when he was born. Katou is that type of person that will go all out for people he genuinely cares about. Now that Shou is officially his son, he isn't going to shirk his responsibility.
...based on the cover, the older brother is "Maria Boy". So we just gotta wait and see. Or it could be a different story altogether with the same theme.
But that plot twist threw me for a loop! I was wide-eyed and slack-jawed in astonishment when I saw what the older brother was doing. And to think that the younger brother has to deal with him listening in on him all the time during the day. Geez! He truly is the more mature one out of the three.

...get enough of this. No matter how many times I read it, it gets sweeter and sweeter. The art, the story - so beautifully written. It really does make you feel that there is hope in the middle of the abyss.
So true (▰˘◡˘▰)
