I’m really curious to see how they’ll end up together. It’s rare that I would read shoujos where the leads actually have feelings for each other, but the female lead is all “F that, I’m too scared of all the rumors I heard about the man. Plus he’s ruthless anyway, so F my warm feelings that started to grow because of dreams anyway”. Meanwhile the male lead seems to have serious trouble in being his warm self in reality, so he’s sabotaged himself along the way.
Anyway, I still like the emperor. Dark characters like him normally have interesting back stories with truths we didn’t expect to find out because they’re shrouded in so much mystery.
Also I really don’t get why anyone is mad at the wanted posters. He asked her to come back and she said F that, knowing full well that he knew everything. I would agree at him being unpleasantly obsessive if she wasn’t actually carrying his kids—which she is. Sure, he wants her too, not just the kids, but as long as they’re in the equation, I can’t fault the man.

My problem with this is he is the one who made her flee: he has said to her he would kill someone pretending to have his child, while knowing she was pregnant. He let her being anxious on her own and when she does the only thing she can do, escape, he gets angry? He didn't treat her well and she had to save herself and protect her child.
I like possessive and dark characters but I put the line on how he treats the innocents. If he wanted to have her and her baby, he should have been honest, at least to her. We might not know everything but for now, he is seriously a villain.

The problem with their approach is:
1. When she asked what he would do if a woman approached him claiming to be the one he slept with, she assumed he didn’t know that they had slept together.
2. Sure, the way he phrased that was scary, but he knew they’d slept together so he answered as someone who knew she wouldn’t step forward. Meaning anyone else doing that shxt would be lying to the emperor himself, therefore deserving of death.
I agree that he mishandled the entire situation, however I don’t remember him actually knowing how stressed she was about her pregnancy. It’d be one thing if she divulged it to him in their dreams and he kept quiet about it, but the fact is that they were lying to each other. It just sucks for her because he actually knew the truth and used it to his advantage. Since he doesn’t seem very much aware of how frightening he is to her, it’s likely he expected she’d tell him the truth when she didn’t have any other option but to do so. But then she ran. Can’t say that makes him a villain.

I agree with you.. Yes, she shown that she did not want to reveal herself to him.. But, does not justify him to say he will kill anyone who said they are pregnant with his child whilst knowing she is preggy.. Because guess what.. Maybe she asked because she is having 2nd thoughts bout telling u but u just snap that route out of her mind by scaring her.. Therefore, in my opinion.. The tyrant mess up not the FL

This is the spoiler if anyone wants to see!

Nah, I’m good. I read ahead too. It’s same old, same old. She’s running away. He’s chasing after her. She gave birth to their twins and is still keeping them away from him. He eventually found her. She panicked and ran back to where his kids are at, but his shadow knights were with the red head knights when they found his kids. (I stand by my believes about that red head, though I actually hope I’m wrong).
Chapter 18 ended with them bringing his kids to the tavern where he’s at. The boy is crying, the girl is a lot more courageous despite how scared they are. The emperor puts a knee down while he speaks to them. Dunno what the hell he’s saying because the raw are in arabic. If you got raws that go beyond chapter 18, send them my way, I’d appreciate it.
