Anyway, I’m probably dropping this lol. I’m not a fan of stories where the interaction between someone of the FL’s status makes no sense. She just insulted a Duke in bright daylight and it’s okay? When he said he saved her, I expected her to say it wasn’t true to at least make it make sense, but nope. She just went full sarcastic… I don’t even need to know why she’s mad in the first place. That chapter just mentally checked me out of the whole story.
