Recommended for anyone who loves a sweet romance with an underlying plot of racial injustice and conflict. I will say though that I personally would’ve loved if the Duchess kept her badass vibe, she definitely begun feeling more like a normal fl who just happens to be really strong- but I guess seeing the main character soften and become vulnerable is kind of the point of the romance genre in general so I can’t hate too much. Love the ML, he’s a total cutie with a rockin bod. Totally worth a read.

As much as I love supernatural x human stories- the lifespan differences kill me. As far as we know there is no way to turn a human in this story, so that means he’ll live his whole life and then Noi will just be alone for yeaars after his eventual death.
Real but I felt like the human dude was getting younger towards the end of the series? Like after he was getting it on with Noi he started getting younger. I think the author alludes to the human dude getting younger too (possibly vampire like) through Noi when he says “I wonder what happens when a human swallows vampire semen”

Yes, like the other commenters are saying, it’s a lil morally deprived, but for the kind of story it is (a smut-oriented re-adaption of evil queen x male Snow White) it’s pretty good. Arts fantastic, the plot is weirdly smooth with how short the story itself is, and the translation is pretty okay.
: yes, it’s rapey. Neither begin consenting and as it continues- they catch feels. But I will say as far as those kind of scenes go, it’s not violent nor grotesque. So if you’re into CNC without all the psychological stuff this is a good go-to.

This story is nothing compare to the other straight smut stories that usually have rape and toxic characters that doesn’t change.
This is probably the only straight story i read where they both raped each other and of course it morally wrong and should never be done in real life but at the end of the day it’s a story about a witch and a prince in medieval times. Modern views can’t really be put on these type of stories since it’s not a modern setting so it wouldn’t make sense. That doesn’t mean people can’t have their opinions or dislikes but they should also acknowledge the context and setting the story is told in when expressing their opinions and or hatred. I mostly love the art more than this story itself but that’s just my personal opinion.
I just wish people understood that stories are definitely subjective and a lot of genres or books are usually directed to a specific audience. Of course that doesn’t make all books right but books are simply that books. Nothing but people fantasies(usually fucked up fantasies) being brought to life. You can’t arrest books or someone creativity/imagination which is why the laws are very loose when it comes to books, games, shows and movies. Since no one can truly control someone that did or do what they saw on tv or read about.
