There is not a single chance of him being employed during this period of time. You may think he changed his identity since he's rich but his face is everywhere in the media and he can't change that.
We hear at the end that he succeeded in imprisoning him again, but by that, the author wasn't talking about a physical imprisonment, but about a mental one. More commonly known as PTSD.

The whole point of the story was to make it fictional and many of the laws you've stated, can't exactly applied to the story as it is again fiction. You can choose to believe what you believe, but by stated by author, the story was to leave a bitter ending and it was not a happy one. He sadly did get kidnapped again, that's end game. Yes he did suffer from ptsd, yes he could have been hallucinating, but this story was to—in the end, be left on a very bitter note(●￣(ｴ)￣●)

Also I dislike the white haired guy. He's so annoying and he has no character development. Like he's not even sorry about what he did and he still gets "rewarded"(dating the guy he loves) at the end?
