I did not, in fact, read Dawn of the Dragon. So what is it?
SPOILER, my guess is that it’s a dragon orb which contains a large amount of dragon energy because it’s connected to the dragon’s soul
In Dawn of the Dragon, it connected the dragon and his mate, extending the mate’s life almost equal to the dragon’s. Basically, solidifying their union
But that’s my guess
