This^ Boys act like this, especially athletic macho boys in highschool. It's just so... Everyday. It's honestly weird to me that people are so pissy about it, it's like "it's just two boys fighting over a love interest, who cares?". Sure, his actions are mean, but the circumstances allow that, he's not going to get along with his love rival.
