i'm thinking the ml's original body was decapitated. someone found the head of a man named pyo guwon and stitched it to the ml's body. the ml doesn't have any of his memories because that's not his damn brain. the ml wasn't talking to himself in the mirror--he was talking to pyo guwon.
"pyo guwon you really are something else. too good-looking for your own good" = "pyo guwon your face is making teach fall in love with me"
but isn't this how many narcissists talk to themselves in the mirror? i took it as him talking to himself. so OK, the brain is someone else's named Guwon.. then everything that happened between them was experienced by guwon not by the ml? i don't get it... the ml likes teach but guwon the brain is disgusted by it?
the body doesn't have memories because the brain is not his, but both of them have interactions with teach or is it only guwon (the brain?).. sorry if i'm asking dumb questions but i can't really comprehend. are there two persons (so to speak) in that body?
haha it's alright. if you've seen jujutsu kaisen (geto suguru) or jojo's bizarre adventure (dio brando) you might understand it a bit more. i think the ml has full control of his body right now so every interaction with jinwoo has been the "ml". but i wouldn't be surprised if "pyo guwon" began to control the body later in the story either. for all we know maybe him puking was the man named "guwon"
never seen it neither. but i researched a bit about geto. when Kenjaku takes over Geto’s body, via brain transplant — that stitched line on his forehead, Geto’s consciousness and soul are no longer active. therefore he no longer lives. if we go by that premise, it would mean that guwon is the only one interacting with teach, no matter if it is not in his original body.
what i do understand now is that guwon might not feel real emotions. so basically he's acting. not sure how this will lead to "true" love or whatever, but it better be good. i don't want some toxic bullshit drama between them honestly. i can't take mahwas that are overly dramatic, twisted and toxic. i just can't. ruins my mood.
well rules established by other stories don't have to apply to this one. they just have similar concepts. in both examples i gave the ghosts of those whose body was stolen haunt the person who stole them. jjk spoilers but geto briefly takes back control of his body when kenjaku attempts to imprison his situationship gojo. might happen in this one, might not! only gusao knows ╮(￣▽￣)╭

yall i genuinely think guwon is a red herring. he's the epitome of intimidating--big and bulky, tattooed, with a scar around his neck. it's obvious why anyone would be weary around him, both the characters AND us as the readers.
BUT WHYYY DID THE LIGHT IN JINWOO'S EYES DISAPPEAR RIGHT BEFORE HE KISSED GUWON DID NO ONE ELSE FIND THAT A LITTLE WEIRD??? it was almost reminiscent of when jinwoo tried to kill guwon in his sleep.
we know that gusao is a fantastic writer, especially when it comes to the main character's inner monologue and thought processes since we saw it with euijoon and ahjussi first. so it's very telling that jinwoo uses near violent verbs when he refers to his feelings: "the moment those words PIERCED my ears, it felt as though a part of my mind had been CUT away". like violence is a subconcious part of his mindset. that absent expression on jinwoo's face in the last panel of the scene where he's sitting next to the bed also creeped me out like twink boutta pounce fr
