When she returns in in 1 or 2 chapters everything has gotten really messed up...from what I understand the defensive mechanisms she made were all destroyed...everyone (even sweet Edward) tries to kill her because I think something happens with foreigners attacking in addition to the Emperor making Edwards's life a living hell. His domain is in a state of unrest and even Edward and his right hand man are uneasy with each other...Edward is grappling with his inner darkness...looks like he's had severe insomnia and he's super on edge...ready to attack at a moment's notice. The palace servants are annoyed with her for abruptly leaving and Edward isn't sure if she really is the same Rino and is really distrustful at first, because I guess he wonders why she stayed gone for so long. He finally eases up, but won't let her leave their room out of concern for her safety and because maybe she'll disappear again...she doesn't stay locked up for long and they gradually regain some normalcy but everything is different. There's more surprises but I'll leave that for later.
