I hate that I can sympathize with the antagonist orange haired dude. I’m starting to understand why he was so upset. It does not excuse his actions and his abusive behavior, but his mother influenced him very deeply. She was a bad influence for such a young mind when it came to homosexual relationships. She made things religious and therefore made him have a mindset that made him believe that homosexuality was wrong. Now that he finally has this friend, who he finds cute, and has these teenage boys saying that they are in a relationship together, makes him feel dirty, like his mother said his dad was. He hated his father for not only cheating, but also hated him for being gay (due to his mother). yes, orange haired dude is mentally ill, but if it weren’t for his parents (father cheating, mother being homophobic), he would have grew up to be very different
