I mean they technically end up together but it somehow leaves a bitter aftertaste. We can't really say it's a "happy" ending since they're still filled with doubts towards one another but oh well.
This is my second time reading this and while I can't really say that it's one of my favourites, it somehow just stuck with me. Even though I said the first time I read this that I'm not gonna reread it anymore, for some reason I find myself back here. And probably again in the future.
I mean Kadokura seems happy in the end but like, he can do so much better. The seme (I won't even bother remembering his name) is a know it all asshole who never actually thought about things from Kadokura's perspective and pretty much just manipulated him and forced his own thinking to him. And as for the father, I've always hated that trope where parents act cold and harsh to their children but dote on them when with other people since it doesn't make things for the child better. Man idk anymore poor Kadokura is surrounded by assholes except the good ppl in the student council
For some reason I'm looking forward more to seeing the sibling development of Litia and the crown prince rather than the romance between her and Daniel, well who knows the author may have something up their sleeve to make their chemistry seem better but yeah I'm not really feeling him that much for now
Oh I was actually already aware that he was the ml when I looked at some spoilers before he was officially introduced so I was really looking forward to see him finally enter and take center stage but well ngl I was a bit underwhelmed by their development since it just sorta feels forced and rushed, I just somehow can't seem to feel the chemistry between them (yet maybe) but yeah I hope the situation improves
