I have to admit, not only am I missing baby Luna, but the vibe of the manga changed drastically to me by chapter 28.
I also can't stop my eyes from rolling at all the gakuen cliches
Sad to say I agree... the way the story was set up, I thought Clen and Alicia were gonna bring baby Luna around the country and raise him to be a great kind/warrior to eventually take out the big bad as a trio, maybe encounter the other demon lords on the way and shape his future, but, uh, yeah, instead they go to magic school and oh? Lookie here, team-up time with the other demon lords who just so happen to be here too! Wow!
It's hard to say if this was the author's original intention or maybe the story just didn't get popular enough in Japan to warrant a long run series and they had to make due with a shorter serialization... but yeah, agreed, the vibe kinda hit a 180 for me too :P still cool concepts and all, but still
Good point about probable pressure around serialization. I also had a feeling that the story is reaching its climax too soon... hopefully it's just an arc and that the series will continue past it.
Yeah, great concepts and hopefully, we'll get out of school and back on the road with the key figures.
Yeah, maybe after they deal with the magic school ordeal, they'll realize they need to keep Luna with them and get back on the road!

I was looking forward to watching this a couple of days ago only to go to Netflix and found out that they won't release until September! 2 WHILE MONTHS AFTER RELEASE IN JAPAN. Why?! They can easily just add the dubs later and release them weekly just as they do with their current anime offerings.
For once, I wished Prime, HiDive, or Crunchyroll picked this up. I have to watch in pirate sites when I'm actually a subscriber

SonI was excited to watch the first episode of the anime adaptation today only to find out that they're not releasing the series until September 7 (most likely all episodes)! I'm so upset with Netflix!
They have been doing episodal releases for Dandadan and previously Sakamoto Days and Blue Box (among others) so why why why in all good's name are they not doing this for Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku?
